This includes proven quantitative and qualitative assessment techniques which allows each client to make informed decisions as to who the most appropriate supplier(s) are.
business process and consulting
translateIT is strong advocate for continuous improvement and recognises that the intersection of IT systems and business process is key to how effectively and consistently organisations work. Nigel has a particularly sound knowledge of business process analysis / documentation and often uses such tools to highlight key issues that affect IT system strategies, system selection and may ultimately create change management opportunities.
implementation
translateIT believes that a client's staff are the best people to deliver the detail of a new software implementation, as this stage represents the single biggest learning opportunity to build internal knowledge on how to best use the new system(s). Nigel can compliment the capabilities of an internal team by providing experience and knowledge that they may not possess.
CIO as a Service
Nigel has worked with a small group of clients over extended time frames, offering external or locum CIO level services, consistently providing business software consulting continuity, often working with the client through periods of extensive change. These clients often have no long term requirement for this level of resource, but they are needed to manage short term complexity or risks.
